AD: VENTURE exists to help ambitious new business owners in West Yorkshire grow and connect with each other. So when the programme announced an exclusive free event for local start-ups in 2023, they needed one of the best in the business to deliver it.

As their trusted partner for over a decade, Leeds City Council got in touch with Grace & Tailor to provide end-to-end event management for the AD: VENTURE ‘Start Me Up’ event, including venue finding, delegate management, sound, light, and AV production.

And when we were tasked with artist and speaker liaison too, we sourced a stellar line-up of Yorkshire-based entrepreneurs to present at the event, including The Apprentice winner Sian Gabbidon who compered the motivational morning programme.

We handpicked an inspiring setting for the six-hour event – the stunning, state-of-the-art facilities at Tileyard North in Wakefield – while our expert team managed everything from logistics to technical production, making it all run as smoothly as possible.
