The Grove, Ilkely – ‘activation zone’ – contracted by Bradford Metropolitan District Council to be part of wider TDY event/celebrations.
Local school choir, local bands, Dhol drummers, Banghra dancing, samba band and carnival dancers, steel drum band, circus entertainers, circus skills workshops, face painter, arts and crafts tent, smoothie bikes, bike race challenge, have-a-go area with unicycles, penny farthings etc., street artist painting the road with Yorkshire roses.
Local traders included butchers selling hotdogs/burgers, screen printing artist, teashop, brownie shop, local brewery.
• Charity involvement from Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
• Big screen showing live race coverage throughout the day
• Approx. 2000 visitors to The Grove throughout the event
G&T provided full stage kit, event/project management, budget management, supplier sourcing, liaising with local traders/ entertainers, entertainment program management, on-site safety.
